Gold, MCT or Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil?

Gold with 100% full-spectrum hemp extract

The standard Gold formula consists of hemp seed oil with real full-spectrum hemp extract. The broader profile of cannabinoids, terpenes and other plant compounds comes from the extract. Through a special production process, we make Gold for cats without terpenes. We use this formulation in both cat variants: CBD with wild Alaskan salmon oil and CBD with organic C8-MCT.

Hemp seed oil is made from the seeds and is the carrier oil; the full-spectrum extract supplies the CBD and other hemp components.

CBD with 100% organic MCT oil

We only use 100% pure C8-MCT oil of grade A from organic coconuts, GMO-free and solvent-free. C8 refers to caprylic acid, which is present in this oil in triglyceride form. MCT provides energy and is being studied in older dogs for cognitive functions. These studies concern an adapted diet and do not prove a comparable effect of a few drops of CBD oil.

MCT usually has a more neutral taste and odor. This can be practical for animals that refuse strong flavors or when fish is avoided. We carefully select the CBD formulation and carrier oil for each product range. Read the product information and choose the variant intended for your pet.

CBD with Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil

Our Wild Alaska Salmon Oil CBD products also contain Vitamin E as stated on the labels. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin with an antioxidant function.

We only use oil from wild-caught Alaska salmon. Wild salmon find their food in open water; farmed salmon are fed compound feed. This distinction in origin and nutrition is the reason that we explicitly name our carrier oil.

The oil naturally contains omega 3 fatty acids, including EPA and DHA. The quantity per product follows from the product specification; wild origin alone does not guarantee a fixed content.

Wild Alaskan salmon oil has a recognizable fishy smell and taste and naturally supplies fatty acids. A fish oil variant does not suit every diet. The product page also mentions the precise CBD raw material and complete ingredients.

What is the best choice?

There is no carrier oil that is automatically the best for every animal. Start with the animal group and then compare the complete composition, practical acceptance and any nutritional restrictions.
