Cannabidiol Company is a Dutch manufacturer of CBD oil for pets. From the Utrechtse Heuvelrug we develop and produce separate lines for dogs, cats, small pets and birds.

Our story
Curiosity became expertise
Our knowledge of cannabis and hemp started in the eighties. In 1997, attention shifted to hemp, CBD and developing our own products.
In the years that followed, CBD grew from a barely known raw material into a market full of brands, quality marks and great promises. We chose a different route: staying close to the product. Not just purchasing and reselling, but understanding what goes into a bottle, why a composition is chosen and how a batch can be traced.
That experience still forms the basis of Cannabidiol Company. We combine knowledge of hemp extracts with practical attention to the animal, the owner and a product that must be clear and manageable at home.

Hemp cultivation is free of pesticides, herbicides and chemical pesticides, and GMO-free.
Hemp cultivation takes place at our certified European suppliers. Further processing and final production remain in-house at the Utrechtse Heuvelrug.
Why we produce ourselves
Responsibility starts with knowing what you make
An attractive label does not reveal who developed the formula, which raw material was used or how the product was created. That is why we consciously keep development and production in-house.
We select the CBD raw material and carrier oil, determine the formula, produce in small batches and fill the products ourselves. This way we can answer questions about composition, strength, animal group and batch information from our own working method.

Our products are not medicines. We opt for clear product information and refer to a veterinarian for medical questions.
The animals behind the product
No standard oil for every animal
A cat is not a small dog. A parakeet requires something different than a large parrot. And a small pet does not necessarily have the same strength as an adult dog.
That is why our range consists of separate lines for dogs, cats, rabbits and rodents, and birds. Within those lines we offer different strengths and formulations, including Gold, MCT oil and wild Alaskan salmon oil. For our salmon oil variants, we only use oil from wild-caught salmon from Alaska, not from farmed salmon. Through a special production process, we make Gold for cats without terpenes. We use this formulation in both cat variants: CBD with wild Alaskan salmon oil and CBD with organic C8-MCT.
These choices may make the range less easy to produce, but more logical to explain and more targeted to choose from.
Own production
From raw material to four product lines
We use supercritical CO₂ for our extraction. We then process the CBD raw material into the composition of the relevant product line.
We make individual products for dogs, cats, small pets and birds, with recognizable strengths and carrier oils.

A good product starts with an honest answer
Are you unsure about an animal group, strength or carrier oil? Tell us which animal and which product it concerns. We are happy to help you with product information and a suitable choice. If you have any questions about illness, medication or treatment, we always refer you to the vet.
A familiar producer behind every bottle
Behind our oils is a producer who knows its own products. We develop and produce in small batches in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug region and select formulations for each pet category. You can therefore ask us about the range, carrier oils and available strengths. For cats, we use a special production process to make Gold without terpenes, used in wild Alaskan salmon oil or organic C8-MCT. That care for individual formulations creates a range in which your pet is the starting point.
