Consciously chosen origin

Wild Alaskan salmon oil only

We only use wild Alaskan salmon oil for our CBD products with salmon oil. The oil comes from wild-caught salmon from Alaska, not from farmed salmon. This origin is a conscious choice when selecting our carrier oils.

What distinguishes wild salmon from farmed salmon?

Wild salmon live in open water and find their natural food there. Farmed salmon grows under controlled conditions and is fed formulated feed. Origin, nutrition and processing can influence the fatty acid profile of the final oil.

Vitamin E in the composition

Our Wild Alaska Salmon Oil CBD products also contain Vitamin E as stated on the labels. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin with an antioxidant function.

Naturally omega 3, including EPA and DHA

Salmon oil naturally contains the marine omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. The amount in a CBD product depends on the oil used, the composition and the serving size. Wild origin alone does not tell you how much EPA and DHA a bottle contains; the product specification is decisive for this.

So we choose a clearly defined raw material: wild Alaskan salmon oil. The recognizable fishy smell and taste can also be practical for dogs and cats that are less likely to accept another carrier oil.

Why Wild Alaska Salmon Oil?

More than a recognizable fishy taste

Wild Alaska salmon oil is an oil raw material with its own fatty acid profile. In addition to its role as a carrier oil for CBD, it naturally supplies marine omega-3 fatty acids, including EPA and DHA.

The fishy smell and taste can also make acceptance easier in animals that refuse another carrier oil.

This can be especially useful for fussy eaters. However, the best composition is not the oil that theoretically sounds the most attractive, but the variant that suits the animal group, the diet and the sensitivities of the individual animal.

Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil also has its own nutritional profile

Omega 3 fatty acids

Wild Alaskan salmon oil itself contains fatty acids, including omega 3. The precise composition and quantity must be assessed per product.

Vitamin E

The composition also contains vitamin E, a fat-soluble vitamin with an antioxidant function. This ingredient is listed on our labels.

Practical acceptance

A familiar fishy odor can help animals that refuse another carrier oil from the food or make administration difficult.

Not for every diet

If you have a known sensitivity to fish, are on an elimination diet or other dietary restriction, Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil may not be appropriate.

CBD and wild Alaskan salmon oil remain two components

Wild Alaskan salmon oil is the carrier oil. We carefully select the CBD formulation and carrier oil for each product range. Read the product information and choose the variant intended for your pet. Properties of wild Alaskan salmon oil should not automatically be attributed to CBD, and vice versa.

On each final product page we list the full ingredients, total amount of CBD, bottle contents and intended animal group.

Suitability starts with the animal group

Not every salmon oil variant is automatically intended for every animal. Always check the animal group label and current product information. In case of medication, illness, pregnancy, lactation or a prescribed diet, consult your veterinarian in advance.
